I'm here to tell you its Monday tomorrow

Guess what? Nothing done over the weekends although I have plenty to do. New jobscope has set in and I'm trying to organise. Thats pretty difficult but I hope I get the team up and kicking in one months time. Boss was asking me if he was to dump me at one place for 6 months, am I ok with it. Yah, why not? Well, I guess its still too early to tell if everything will go ok but its funny how someone called it as a hurdle. I wonder, hurdle to what and who?

It has been another eventful weekend. Caught The Crab Flower Club on Friday. =p Ms Joanne asked if there were crabs to be served during the play.

There is, but its served to the Father, not to Joanne. =p Not bad and there is no re-run and it reminds me of vagina monolouges. =) i actually prefer vagina monolouges because I dont really like the part where the girls kept chanting. It made me feel like I am in a cult or somethng =p

I will be catching this next week!
I hope it is nice because timbre yesterday was BORING although it was supposed to be fun. The bands came in and tune and tune and tune and tune and tune and tune and tune and tune and played a few songs and another band came in and did the same thing. The mood was fluctuating the whole night and we couldnt stand it and we left, for Settlers. =p

Settlers with the 14K is OMG! They do not behave like their age at all, every game they won, they did the 14K thing and it was funny. They called themselves the TPY boys, haha and it was the old vs the young. I am the in between but I joined the old. Haha, seriously, this was so much fun than Timbre.

Anyhow, the wedding is next week! =) We spent one afternoon trying to get the ang pow box and a night to get all the materials. Trooper OPW contributed by buying all these.
It was so sinful!!! The durian in between the puffs was OMG!!! Well, not to mention that OPW really think that we are all piggies. So, the smell lingers on while operation is in process.

I specifically asked someone to get the UHU glue, the one on the right, someone (aka the bride) went down and got me the left. Apparently, like what she said, she has not pass art in school.
Sweeeeet...
The completed product! I am just going to show you the top profile. So sweet ehhhh... The colour scheme is the same as the bride's gowns!
After the back breaking session, I head off to The Hort Park. =) Finally managed to set my foot on the 9km thingie... =)

Pretty, isnt it? One day, I am going to try to walk in the day. I did not manage to finish walking, we stopped at Henderson Waves because we started the walk without dinner. =p I must say someone was thoughtful enough to hide some M & Ms and water and flashed them out when the growling symphony starts! =) I seriously thought he churn them out from the branches when we were walking across the canopy.

It's that time of the year. 2 years ago, I started work and how time files, I have already clocked two years worth of working experience. It was also this day that mummy was born. We bought the kids out and they were, as usual, happy.

BB T was sucha cutie, he actually took his own things and told mum that it is meant to be a present for her. Awwww... It goes to tell again, family and upbringing is important. He's turning 3 soon and he knows how to give presents! =) He said he wants a Barney cake for his birthday =) Ok, I actually got so ambitious these days that I am thinking to bring them go see Ben 10 at some shopping centre in this June. Ok, we shall see how.

Does this reminds you of something? I simply like the glitters on it!
Yup, the same colour scheme as the Ang pow box. =) After the wedding, I will show you how the ang pow box look like!!! Hmmmm, just what am I going to say in the wedding? You may swallow the bride? (o_O)

Its 10.30pm already. Should I start on work or should I sleep? Tick Tock Tick tock, I cannot wait for the weekends to come.

P.S. Apparently, BB T has showed signs of chicken pox. Oh dear...

Cats and Memory

I have a weird relationship with cats. I dont know what have they done to me or was I traumatised in the past by them but I just keep them at 18783945739 arms length away from me. By chance, I got free tickets to this play. Hahaha, I always have this kind of perks, just BDBJ (bo dai bo ji), my friend has got free tickets to the show and I was invited.

My first response was, "why not? Its a famous play and its free." Hahaha, in my mind was, "Ok, I hope their make up is no good." HAHAHA!!! =x Yes, things are that bad with cats, I am terrified, mortified whatever-fied. So off I go and before I did, I did a google on it so that I can roughly know what it is about. I read a little on it and I realised it was by Andrew Lloyd Webber, yup, the same guy who came up with Phantom of the Opera and I listened to the the song, "Memory".

The storyline was simple. They introduced the different kinds of cats and what they were going. The crew was very interacting. Before the start of the show, they were running around pretending to be cats and mingling with us! The funny part is I was really kinda scared although after awhile it went away. I did let my friend know that I have this phobia and he was funny enough to tell me not to worry because he will bark like a dog if they come near me. Funnily, there were people who really barked like a dog during the play! =)

All the cats names were long and it was so difficult to remember them! I could only remember two names which is Gus and Grizabella and my friend was actually amazed. =x Because he said he cannot remember any and so during intermission, he went to get the Program. HAHAHA!!! Above is actually one of my favourite cats, Rum Tum Tugger! =p I am a lady so it is no doubt that I will like him. =p Super confident and flirtatious! *Slurp slurp* I like I like. HAHAHA!!!
Grizabella is the Glamour cat who left the group awhile ago and now yearns to go back to the group. She sang "Memory" and my friend who said this play was not his cup of tea thought it was all worthwhile to come and watch just because he heard "Memory".

It is a sad song and I am still listening to it now. Imagine I was listening to it yesterday when it was pouring! W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L!!!

Daylight
See the dew on the sunflower
And a rose that is fading
Roses whither away
Like the sunflowerI yearn to turn my face to the dawn
I am waiting for the day

Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan

Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again

Every streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morning

Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I musn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin

Burnt out ends of smoky days
The stale cold smell of morning
The streetlamp dies, another night is over
Another day is dawning

Touch me
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my days in the sun
If you touch me
You'll understand what happiness is

Look
A new day has begun

Have you watched this? I got reminded of this movie when Grizabella sang "Memory"

It has a very interesting plot. The guy actually went to erase the girl from the memory because he found out that the girl has erased him away from the memory after they broke up. I remember the girl's name is Clementine but the guy who is played by Jim Carey, hah, I dont remember the name. During the erasing process, Jim Carey regretted and tried to do whatever he can to keep Clementine in his memory. He failed.

Later, they met each other again, fell instantly in love, not knowing that they have fallen in love before. Nurse in clinic sent them recordings that they have made before the memories were erased and they realised everything and still decided to be together. Throughout the whole movie, they also showed people who chose to erase either their dead loved ones or pets from their memories because it was too hard for them to take. The devastation was not bearable and so, there you go, a very interesting movie. Go watch it if you have not, of course, if you are madly, deeply and happily in a relationship, no, dont watch it. Hah!

You combine "Memory" and this movie and the fact that tomorrow is Monday and that you still have to work tonight, that will be a great concoction named "Bang the wall".

Seriously, is there anyone you would like him/her to be erased from your memory?

Happy Dovey

The exams are coming and I have my first paper next saturday. This is my last (hopefully not) exams in NUS and its abit weird how feelings changes from Yr 1 to Yr 4. Yes, time to step out of the kiddo zone and step into the real world. My own industry? Other fields? Interest? And ahhh, the monetary benefits and compensation which the whole Singapore is talking about. Ya, I know and you know, the minister's pay. Never mind that the people is making a big hooha out of it although the decision has been made. You know what George W. Bush should just come here and be our Minister of Foreign Affairs and get a whopping $2.5 million instead of his $606, 000 (Straits Times, 2007). (You know you do too much of the referencing for your dissertation and you ended up doing the same thing on your blog. That's pathetic.) Just do your maths and you know how many times is that and and, I thought pay should be pegged to responsibilities? Oh ya, never mind.

*Rolls eyes*

On a lighter note,

Such nice mask... and I've read about them!!! (not the mask but the story, dumb dumb) There have been movies about them too.

So..... Please behold.......
