Hi there May, April is going to be gone sooooon.
Well, I just finished some work and I thought I will drop by here. Not that there will be anyone following this anymore. In fact there's nothing much to follow and this has more or less become a desserted place.
Work has really been rather taxing and I think it will probably be for next few months to come. I have been making plans and oh yes, I am curently taking a specialist diploma course at Singapore polytechnic. Yea and I was so wrong to think that its cool to take some time off work because in school, basically, I am still working.
 Check out my casing although I dont really errr... like it. It makes my phone bulky. I supposed the thing is it does offer good protection to my phone.
 Otherwise, I really prefer this better! I just used the red cover for one week before I chucked it one side and used back this one!
 Seeee. Mommy couldnt even tell if there is a cover attached to it. Hah, being hiao in school.
 Its just a super random post. If you have my facebook, the pictures in school and Universal studios are all there. Magic of iphone again. :)
Right, I do sound a bit funny, dont I? :p I am talking to a friend in MSN and it sort of brought me back some things which hmmm... I dont know how to say. This brings back to the issue of me being a control freak. Hahaha. I guess I dont need to know and right, I dont need the answers to come ridiculing at me. :) Sometimes, time passes you so fast, you have no idea how fast it can get. Oh ya, I am taking yoga again! :D and belly dancing. HAHAHHA! Funny right? Yea, trying to be more feminine so that I wont be left on the shelf. Its fun. I have got Jay Chou's tickets at hand and its good seats! Its just right beside the catwalking stage. Cool! Hahaha, but I am comtemplating to sell the tickets away although my friend will really get disappointed. Oh no, its late! The last day of CNY
Happy CNY! Today is the last day and it goes to show again how fast time files.
It has been a very eventful 15 days and I will upload those pictures in facebook soon. In fact, I have already uploaded the pictures for the dinner because everyone is doing it so fast.
I am still very obsessed with the camera. :p have since pasted more things in my diary and I am sourcing for cheaper films!
 I also met up with my varsity mates during this period.
 It was fun updating each other although the group has shrank a little. Well, as you aged, you get more busy and it is more difficult to get everyone together.
 The first kid that my Mom takes care? He is as tall as me now! This is so so so scary!
 Speaking of time, it was also our first annivarsary together. :) Monster and Me on the 14th of Feb!And I met up with my what I called my annual friend yesterday. Ha, we meet once a year, and King was asked to come along. It was so fun just yelling inside the KTV room and King was just dead stoned thinking why is he out with 2 siao kias who try to cheat him to come over to Yishun. :p
 Errrr... this is my Boss and me. We are in the midst of something very serious and this is in Supreme Court so it is really serious. It has got to be the experience of my life and I even got chided for being out of the line by the Mediator. Damn it but well, experience learned.
 This is a happy me preparing for the dinnnnner! Haaaa...
 This year we have a theme for the dinner. There were many funny things for this dinner because Boss made one of my colleagues the chairman and I was not even appointed as the advisor because my Boss said he wants someone to control me. Yeah, speak about controlling, who do you want to control. Anyhow, I am so glad that everyone was so sporting.
I was voted as one of the Ms Shanghais. It was funny because I am one of the organisers and I have all the questions to the Q & A and I also set the winning criteria. :p I am fair de lah, how can I win right?
 The cheong sum is very cheap, less than $10 and my shoes were 199baht (-_-)'"

The people who attended! Its such a nice view right? The ladies just made everything look so much nicer!
:) Time for dinner le. My sista sent me a weird email yesterday. The first paragraph starts like this:

Tired and it is going to be a very busy week ahead. Yup, I will head to bed earlier tonight. On channel 5 is The Lost room, well, it looks interesting with ordinary objects having empowering people with special powers. Oh yes, I was supposed to say Happy New year! :)
My friend quitted and I wonder will it go through. Wow, the show is really interesting. Yeah, I have been watching Legend of the Seeker faithfully with the kids too. They will be here tomorrow and BB E is coming too. I kinda miss those noise that they make and BB T is on my wallpaper. :x Others mistaken that as my son. Oh, join the order and talk to God and Joe is looking for his daughter.
I finally watched The imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. Yes, its about choices and I often wonder who invented choices, who invented freewill? Just like Little Children, when do you get carried away? When do you start doing the right things, making right choices? When do you do wrong and then given the chance to make things right again? Or, will that even happen? :) Yeah, I would probably land myself on Dr Nick's side. I think I already have.

 Its a birthday gift and it really comes too early but nonetheless, I am touched by this gesture.
:) I had a fun time playing with it yesterday but the films are so expensive! I think I am really funny, I take a polaroid picture and I used my digital camera to take the picture I have just taken. (-_-)'" And if the picture was meant to be a gift, there is only one and only one can keep it so you will use your digital camera to take that picture! Ok, am I thinking too much or thats the way things are supposed to be? :p I realised something though. Its good for people with diary because I can take a picture and instantly, the picture comes out and voila, I stick it to on my diary and write my thoughts immediately! When I look back, there, the picture with the words! Having said that, this picture is now really in the diary and my diary will have faces, objects, colours and everything. :D There! I found a use for it.
Hee, I have gotten myself a laptop last year. What should I get myself this year?

Work is killing me
Been working till now and I am really tired. Ok, I watched the TV while I worked but why are Mondays coming earlier than they should? Argh! These days I get so tired, afternoon was facial and I was snoooooozing off like I havent been sleeping for ages and tomorrow is Monday again. Argh!
Collected the goodie bag for the Safari Run on Saturday. This year, I AM GOING TO BE THERE, RAIN OR SHINE. :)
 The goodie bag was a disappointment. Last year, the bag was so cute and this year the things were in like what my colleague described, chiong kind of plastic bag. Tsk tsk, I thought economic crisis was over?
Then, the boys tried on the clothing I bought for them. I do not know why Xzavier look so glum but they sure love what I bought for them.
  Haha, Xzavier still look like a shu shen although he was wearing a flirtatious shirt. (-_-)'" That huai ren, wear checkered shirt still look like huai ren. His dad was saying he looked like Tarzan, want to go and fight and collect protection fee. Bought something for the babies as well. Met my best friend on Friday too. :p We both are gluttons. If we are going to have ice creams, we are going to have the largest, all by ourselves.  And I said I was going to blog about this. We were talking about Furama Hotel and where it is. J: Its at clarke quay right? R: No, not the one at Chinatown ley J: Yah... the one at Havelock Road right? R: I dont know what road J: Ok, the one opposite MOM right? Ministry of Manpower? R: (gives the super ultra shock shock face) Ehh.... 倒了...倒闭了对吗??? J: HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA!!! How can the ministry 倒???????? WAHAHAHAHHA!!! Are you saying MINISTRY OF SOUND? R: (beat me and roar into laughter) Ya ya, I thought you so sua ku. J: Please loh, that place has become ZIRCA and although I have only been there once, I know MOS 倒了 lor. R: Ok lah, I have never been there. Tsk! STOP LAUGHING (beat me again) Now, when I remember that shocked expression, HAHAHAHAHHA, I am still laughing loh! I laughed my way to Borders and till now. HAHAHAHHA!!! MOM 倒了?!?!?!? HAHAHAHAH, ok, stop it. When she read this, i think she will kill me. She even said I am pretty so that I will not blog about this. :p Esther turned 21! She looked like the maid in this picture loh. :p She is so adorable.  Our arrival at BKK.  Our arrival at Changi Airport. Yeah, I know. 3 women let loose and this is what you have.  Basically, we shop, eat, sleep and massage. I have to lug back 30kg of luggage. My pocket burned a big hole and I doubt it is even there. :) Kua kua kua, no one to control me. I even bought a new luggage, super pretty loh. Tonight, someone from the past talked to me. Hmmm... things are progressing and I think I am in line to meet my target. No more stunts and I will be there soon. :) No more things associated to dangerous. Ok, my eyes are closing already! Movies and babies
I just hugged Thane. :) Babies are so funny, they always smell so nice. Is it all those creams that the adults apply on them? Or they just naturally smell good.
Oh, Thane? Who is Thane? He is the interim baby before Edagyer comes along. :p He is one talkative baby, he loves talking.
This is to show you how big he is compared to my Monster!
 The kids crowding around him. I was back from Hong Kong and I asked the kids who this baby was. Xzavier said he is someone my Mom's friend forgot to bring back. (-_-)'" I asked Treveze and he said this baby is Mama's friend's baby.
Anyhow, I have watched many movies last week! Lars and the Real Girl - I have already told you what it is about. Little Children - I like it. :) It says of adults who at one point of their time lives recklessly and irresponsibly, only thinking about their own happiness and nothing else. Just like little kids, who doesnt know that eating too much chocolates is harmful to you. They just enjoyed that moment. Momento mori. Of course, adults can never be children again. Marley and me - I am so so so so so going to swear off any movies with dogs. My last doggie movie which was years ago, had me walking out of the cinema sobbing like someone just raped me or something. I thought when you are 25, your heart gets harder. Wrong, I still cried like crazy. Boooohooooo~~~~ No more doggie movies Little Prince - I always love Little Prince. So, :) its very meaningful and I hope to meet him soon. I think only he will understand that the thorns are for spites and beneath that spites is the affection which you cannot see. Yea, those that are important are invisible to the eyes. The Morgans - Funny. It goes to show how much love, patience and tolerance it will takes for 2 siao kia to be together. I think it is more funny that Ms Lim actually walked in thinking we are watching Fourth Kind. I wonder where she got that idea. Daybreakers - I love it!!! It is so nice!!! It was a different vampire show and I love the poster!!! So cool! Can I keep a laboratory like that? :p Mine will only take in the boys. HAHAHAHAH!!! Hmmm...wonder where I can get the poster? So nice loh!!!!!!! Did I mention that work has been a killer these days? I was back in my office doing work today. Dangz. Ok, I shall not think about it. I am flying off on Wednesday with the girls! Yeah! Our first trip out together!!! So excited!!! Ok, night. tata. take care. Thane is talking and I just saw someone I used to know on TV. Oh no, the kids are reminded of him again. Lars and The Real Girl
Thats a movie. :)
I was supposed to get some work done, well, I did. Sort of. I rented some movies yesterday, it has been a while since I rent DVDs, wrong, I have never rent DVDs, someone does and I chose the movies I want to watch. Anyhow, it has been a while since this has happened. Junction 8 has got a new ezy video and I rented a couple yesterday.
Lars is a guy who likes to coop himself in his room and he doesnt like to interact. His elder brother who is the only family member left in this world has a pregnant wife who always try to get Lars to join them for meals. There is a girl named Margo, who likes Lars, and she's fun and cute. Lars doesnt interact nor is good at communicating so towards her advances, it was nothing but cold.
One day, he got himself a Love Doll. A doll who is anatomically correct, whose purpose was to satisfy those men with needs. A woman who doesnt talk. Its name was Bianca. He treated Bianca like she's real and his brother, Gus, got freaked out. They went to the doctor and the whole town played along. It was through Bianca that he eat with his family again. It was through Bianca that he joins his collgeaues. Bianca was a channel where people get to him.
Watch the movie if you want to know the ending. :) I am not sure though if you can accept this kind of movie because you might think the story is kinda far fetched and ridiculous. Its just sad because it is about this person who is terribly lonely and in need of companion and love because he doesnt react well to people. People is always asking him to hang out together but he simply just rejected them. He has no social life until Bianca comes along.
Lars remind me of someone. Someone I used to know. I dont know but the movie alone reminds me of this person. Well well...
Look what I did in the morning:-
 Its not that easy and in the end I have to seek help from the internet just to get this taipei presidential palace up. I call it Joanne's going-to-topple Palace. :) Going to put this on my office desk, the only thing I had from Taiwan on my desk the other time was this lao ah gong, which well, originally was a pair with another lao ah ma which probably got thrown away.
Since this is my first entry for 2010 so Lars and the real girl is pretty dark and emo right?

 I got a nagging from Boss. He doesnt understand why someone like me, who has spent a considerable amount of money on Lasik will go get a pair of spectables. Hiao mah~~~ HAHAHA!!!
 Last picture after spending 8 days out of Singapore. Taipei was colder than Hong Kong and Changi airport is way like hot. We were actually perspiring when we stepped in.
I will be flying off again with the girls in about 2 weeks time. After that, I think I got to start to restrain myself. :p People has been commenting that I have been flying alot and I have been telling them thats because I am out of love. I cant possibly use that forever and I think I will need to save up for more constructive things. Well, maybe flying to further places. :x Like Venice? Sounds good? HAHAHAH!!! Incorrigible. Ms XJ, steady lah, year end we go Venice!!! So romantic!!!
 On an entirely different note, no, no courage to stand beside the Queen's head. I spent most of my time out of there. This is the only picture I took there and I left. I waited for the rest in the bus. You know, you dont really need the walls to repent, you can do it in the bus.
Oh no, its monday on his way. I cant wait to set off. :)

Someone new...
Helloooo...My fingers are turning blue already and its not even Monday yet! :p I have had a nasty last week. Work was horrible, I got out from one trouble to another and to another again. Tired, tired and of course, tired!

Now, you know who he is. Thats makes three. I often tell people World war 3 is always happening every evening close to me. You reached the stairs and you will hear things like "Dont run!" "Bang Bang! Bang!" Or, wrestling happening on the bed, or my poor, I still dont know if it is a monkey or a cow but Didi calls it "Monkey" and you see pooooor monkey kena dragged out of the room and squashed. Occasionally he does show some forms of affection to it, when ermmm he feels like it.

Its November
Yeah, as if you do not know and guess what, its already mid of the month.
I woke at 9am today, went back to bed and woke at 10am. Sat here by 10.30am and I was supposed to finish my work by 1pm as I have badminton later. It is 12pm now. Progress? 0% and I am here. :) Well done, how am I supposed to complete everything by 1pm? Uhhh...whatever~
I was at the body exhibit yesterday. I think Da Vinci was better. All the bodies look so plastic, it is difficult to associate them with real bodies when they are supposed to be the real bodies. Ha.
Mum was saying he is wasting the resources because he is not putting effort into the drawing.
 Me: what is this?
Him: this is 彩虹。

Monday over...
There are still tinges of blue around and plenty of things I do not understand. Well, I dont think you can understand all the things. I know curiousity kills the cat so perhaps not understanding can be good in its own way.
Its Monday so there you go:
Long long time ago, at some hotel which I cannot remember the name. =) This was also one of the places which we frequent quite often for the next few months because someone needed counselling session. =)
 Plenty of colleagues around at a company event which I have also forgotten the name. :p
 This is the one and only photo taken on the bowling alley.
 This is good place, the ambience is ooohlala. We have got the guitar man singing and the place is wonderful!!! Its one of the NUS guild houses.

Decadence
I said I was going to blog about this and so I am. I remembered it was 3 things yesterday but today I woke up only remembering 2. Not like I did many things today but I am feeling so tired now, I think I can go to bed again. (-_-)'" No, I did not wake at 8am today, I woke at 1pm but I dont feel satisfied at all, I just feel tired. So tired.
Back to the 2 things, I think I am mixing with the wrong crowd. Opps, I think I figured out this too late all the times.
First, my friend, who is married, said nothing matters, except for the errr hemmmm, sperms. (I think she meant it literally)
Secondly, another friend said, marriage is expensive because for now, the amount for alimony is expensive. You got to look at the girl and think is she worth $500 a month. (-_-)'" These two remarks were in response to the topic of "MARRIAGE". Tell me, I am in the wrong crowd, am I?
Yea, I am starting to think I am incorrigible. =) They look like loots here, dont they? My loots call themselves Kate Spade.

On an entirely different note,
 
I was in East Caost again. Guess what, the times to East Coast to me, used to me countable. I dont know if I remember correctly but for the past 5 years, other than this year, I have never been to East Coast for more than 5 times, maybe not more than 3! This year alone, I have more than made up for it. =) The same errr.... hemmm... goes to alcohol, I never used to drink but this year, I think I also made up for it too. =p
Now, I am really tired, I wonder can I stay up till 10. I thought Flash Forward was interesting, when you see your future, those who see the bad things, try to steer around it, but those that see good things? You cannot wait. So fun.
=) I think the decadence has stopped, the withdrawal has kicked in.
Ooooohho!!!!! Time to eat grass lor!!!! My Nov plans has yet to materialise and I am going to morph into a siao kia again soooooon!!!! Yeah!!!!

Tonnes and tonnes of pictures
I hope I will really write lesser. =p I am going to fill this post with tonnes and tonnes of pictures! My body is aching from yesterday's games. 3 sets of games in one row and I do not have the habit of doing warm-ups. I saw my colleague doing the warm ups and I was like duhz! Great. I wonder do people paste salonpas on their bum bum because I just did. =x Am I lousy of am I getting old?
This heart shaped thing has got a story. When a girl was turning 21, the both of them with a group of friends baked a heart shaped chocolate cake with chilli substituting as cream. Now that yours truly has turned 25 and more, Mr Yu decides to return the heart shaped mould to Ms Tan. I think they stay super far away from each other, maybe one in North pole, the other in South, which is why, it takes 4 years.
 We were trying to be cheapskate and this was the ball I caught. I will spare you the story, I can be an idiot sometimes. Heee...

 I am just being vain. =p That is also before I dye my hair.
 The full team together with Miya!!! Her grey stockings is a killer!!! Pai Ka still must fight with the other jie meis for the bouquet. Heeee... Its funny nowadays, everybody siam the bouquet instead of catching it! Maybe when you get older, you will fight to get it?

 I have to gross everyone with my knee in the morning! =D I do not have the time to bandage it so I went with all the pus and blood which you cant really tell from the picture. Hiak Hiak Hiak.

 The hosts for the night. It was getting so bad but I was equally vain so I had to manage with my heels and my knee. It was taking ages for the host to get up on stage and I was treated like a dowager. Limping host, how many weddings can you see one?
 This was that fateful day after my fall. Yeah, I still can manage to go catch a movie after that although I really have difficulty walking. Once I go out of the camera, the frown automatically comes onto my face because it was hurting so badly!

 Yeah...where is the lock? We went for Forest Adventure at Bedok Reservoir. It was so fun!!!
 It was fun just climbing around and flying!!! Well, next day, the whole body was aching but it was worth it!
  This chou loh kia pulled out everything. Super formidable right??? HAHAHAHAH!!! =) Can you believe it? You are taking the lock together with the key, so what is the point of locking when there is no lock?!?!?! We were laughing so happily because she asked how come the key is so big? (-_-)'"
That is us in Lory Loft. Ms XJ has got free pass to the Bird Park. We have wanted to bring the babies along but these days, BB X and BB T are so busy! They have classes during the weekends. In the end, we went ahead without them.

 Yesterday. I hope no one has burn down anything. Mine was fire free and for the first time in my life, I finally hear my name in the LUCKY DRAW. Ya, great, 10 packets of I dont know what you call it. When my number was called, I wasnt even paying attention, luckily I told everyone my number =x

 It was German food after that. Pork knuckles, sausages and beer! =D I've got very brown hair now!
 We know we will definitely not get anything so we spent some effort trying to get the "Best Dressed" award. Well, we almost won but because we did not wear the masks throughout, we were out. Anyhow, the prize wasnt too fantastic to start with. =x

 We did not wear it in the competition but we wore it for pictures taking at night. =x The kids were so fascinated with us, I think they almost wanted to buy our masks.
 Everyone was so worried that I will start to traumatise everyone inside the cinema. =) I did not, out of the 5 stories, I slept like a pig for the first 2 stories and woke up only during the third story. Yup, riiiiight, movie for the night was Phobia 2. i did not even watch Phobia 1. =p I am always watching the wrong show at the wrong time. It was mid autumn!!! Why the horror show? Hah...but then I have watched the others so there really isnt much to choose from. Surrogates is nice nice wor~ Go watch it!
 Totally random but....
 J is me and that is proof that I have gotten 137 points! =D That was not for yesterday but for a game we had in Genting. It was a miracle because my average score is always not worth mentioning. Yesterday, the highest point I have gotten was ermmm maybe 85? HAHAHA!!!

=) That is long outstanding! The teams are heading over to Macau this October for business and I wonder is Team 4 (aka my team) joining them. Hmmmm... planning something in Nov as well, I hope it will materialise. =p
