All about pictures

I am waiting for all the data to be tranferred to my laptop now. A few months ago, the hard disk of my lappie got into a big problem by deciding that it should burn by itself and I lost everything. I think I did a post on that. I was kinda upset by that because it contained everything since Uni days. Work data, school assignments and those reports I have worked on, all gone. What affected me the most was all the pictures that I have. Pictures are wonderful thing. Everyone smile for the camera or in most occasions, activity like photo taking is usually done on a happy occasion.

People walks in and out of your life and pictures of them are good souveniors you can keep. I washed my photos and they are all under the bed. When the lappie died on me, I was so glad that I actually washed some of the photos. I also thought of going to the people to get the photos from them. I do backups but on a hard disk which I have forgotten the password. Thats pretty silly right? The password was not set by me and was set by a friend. Tonight, I googled for ways to hack into my own hard disk and while I was watching TV, I typed in something and I GOT IN!!!! :) Can you imagine the feeling of getting something that you have lost???? I can tell you the feeling! ITS WONDERFUL!!! :D I am ultra super duper happy!

Its going to take a while more before everything is transferred but I am not going to take any chances. I will patiently wait for everything to be transferred over. :) I realised when I do backup, I just copied everything over so there are many duplicates around. Looking at the pictures, I came across this:-

The babies are going back end of this year. Maybe I should compiled all the pictures for them to bring back. Maybe pick and choose and wash those pictures for them, afterall its their childhood and with their working parents, I dont think they took as many pictures as I did but the above is Treveze with his botak head. Now, if you being him to the salon, he will tell the Auntie himself that he doesnt want to shave his head although shaving his head will grow more hairs. :) He has more hair now. Its wonderful watching a child grow. Their love is always unpretending and it always filled you with warmth.

Its pretty fast! 10 more minutes and I am done! :) I will have to figure out the password so that I can use this hard drive. Meanwhile, some more pictures for your viewing!

This is us in Cu Chi tunnel. I will upload the video when I am done. Hee, I have the chance to just try out. Oh my goodness! It was only a 20m walk and we were all screaming to get out. This guy in front of me was screaming for more and I almost kicked his arse to ask him to shut up. :p
Thats Ms Tan in a super exhilarating face. I think everyone of us has that face when we came out of the tunnel. I managed to rest in the tunnels (I know, its only 20m) while waiting for the gu niangs. I was waiting to take a pictures of them but I dont know what they were doing. In the end, we trailed so behind from the others. Ohhh... thats probably the reason why I did not kicked the guy's arse. *grins*
I think this is the straw hat that you must wear in Vietnam! Mei mei right??? The boat (wait, I dont know if it classifies as a boat), the sampan was so shaky and I did not moved an inch at all. In all my photos, I have fear all scribbled on my face. :p So, this is my traveling mate's picture. Haaa...

I cannot figure out we managed to squeeze our time. We were basically rushing from one place to another although in the initial initernary, we had the last day free. Haha, I thought when you go for holiday, you are supposed to have time for coffee at 3pm at a cafe, admiring the busy crowd rushing from places to places. Oh, you will have time for a drink at a local pub at 11pm because you dont have to wake up early next day. That did not happen for my trip. HAHAH! For every coffee break we take, we are filled with guilt. For pubbing? My goodness, we wake up earlier than usual when we go for work (say about 6 or 7 am), by the time it hits 10pm, all of us are exhausted, all we want to do is shower and go to bed. Madness. Or is age catching up on us? I have been feeling exhausted since the day I returned. I slept at 10pm everyday. HAHAHAHA!!! But hey, we did many things and visited many places this time round! Haha, this thing about ostrich meat eating? Whoever that I have told, everyone was just so amazed. The joke is this, we were supposed to go to Mango Garden Resort for grass skiing and ostrich riding. The car ride took us like 1.5 hours because its the outskirts (oh outskirts, hahaha must 抱紧紧! Another story for another day!). In the end, we couldnt find where the ostrichs were and ermmm, the barbeque smell was just too enticing to be refused, we sat at this place in the greens and had ostrich meat. *guilty* I was so overwhelmed with guilt that I was so afraid that the ostrich might throw me off when I am riding it. :p The feathers wasnt looking too clean so we all, unanimously, agreed that we will skip it. HAHAHAHHAHA!!! Le Trang was so surprised that we drive all the way there for lunch. :x

This is me at Notre Dame Cathedral :)

I am not a christian but all the building materials from this building was shipped from France! Aint the French atas? Heee... so, of course, I must pay this place a visit! We attended their mass!
Ah Ping got a new toy! Quick!!! Guess what is it???

Just holding it makes you look stylo mylo liao!
HAHAHA!!! By the third day, she was taking pictures like a pro! Errr, we are seeing the photos tomorrow. I am expecting all pictures to have the person super clear and the background super blur. HAHAHAHHAH!!!

Oh something like the below:-
This was done by Le Trang! :) It was done on purpose, I mean the background. Haha! All the time, when we tell Ah Ping to take pictures, its because the place is beautiful. Can you imagine, looking at the pictures and all you see of is yourself? (-_-)'" We ate at this roadside stall and the tables setting was awesome so she showed us this picture of us. Nothing shows the table setting. (-_-)'" At times like this, my laopok sony T77 comes into good use!
We met more people this time. Ah Ping was flirting with the tour guide and another guy at the airport. She was practically talking to everyone! *slaps forehead* Ms Tan has got a caucasian flying kisses at her! We met 2 doctors from Denmark who is going to be in Vietnam for 4 months for their attachments and they introduced us to another 2 Australians who are also doctors. Thats me and one of the girls. We are cruising Saigon River and at the same time, having our dinners on the ship. We went drinking together the next day! :)

Here is one of my favourite shot. It shows my dimples and my earrings!
This is a pretty long post ehhh? :D Its late but I am happy! *hopping around* I am meeting the girls tomorrow to look at the pictures!

Night world!

I am so tired.

I am back from my trip. They said time files and when you are happy, it gets even faster!

I have meetings starting from tomorrow onwards and people have been trying their luck, trying to call me. I dont think I have that many meetings when I dont go for holidays but yea...tired and I cannot wait for the weekends to come to catch up on some sleep.

I have uploaded my photos! :) I cant wait to see the rest of the pictures especially those taken from Ah Ping's SLR!!! Oh, and from Le Truang's camera.

Here is a glimpse:

Its tiring but I love this kind of trip. Although I am still short of a few destinations that I missed, our schedule was really packed to the MAX. :D

By the way... hmmm... never mind. I will talk about it next time. Exhausted and I really need to catch up on some sleep.

Night World.

Ra với các cô gái!

Hola! I try to remember my last trip and I thought I haven't been away for quite a while but guess what, I was in KL only last Saturday. The last time I took such long leave? Jan! I went on a shopping spree with the girls to Bangkok. It was extremely fruitful and our luggages almost burst. Those videos, muahaha, should never be seen. :) I'm going off with them again, this time to Ho Chi Minh! It's going to be a good break, almost 4 days off from work! Yiiippeee! Oh yea oh yea, I've also been to Langawi in August.

Look at the initernary and it's relatively packed. Ms Lim did a very good job in the planning! Let's hope we get all things planned swee swee executed!

Yiippee yeah yeah, got my specialist diploma this week. The result for the other course will most probably be next week. Scary~

Tired. Tata everyone. :p have fun!

(hahahaha, I know. A totally total nonsensical post)
