no time for term break~

And it is a dumb Saturday when I am at home doing work... it is pretty dumb and I get it, I mean HELLO, this is a term break of which I did not have the chance to rest at all and in turns turn more busy? What is this coming into? I dont remmeber staying home on a Saturday for a normal school week trying to get my work done, but here I am because there's tonnes of work waiting for me and I can even like feel them screaming out to me!! One of my friends was saying she wants to complain and there's so much to complain, what to do? The life of SDE... I went back everyday for my term break for different projects and meeting different tutors and lecturers for my projects and theres like 2 bloody hell Term Test next week, aghghghghg!!! I hate this all!!! And of course I've got a presentation next week plus a 3000-words report and many deadlines to meet for other projects. For instance, on thursday Law is up and on Friday my BI2 is due...What the hell huh?

And just before the termbreak, it was appreciation night. Nice playing a school girl again although it was kinda boring that only a few played by the rules and turned up in a uniform and I dont understand why obliging the rules become like something call "xiasuay", nonetheless I had fun.
ME
My mentees were saying that had I was born around their era, they would woo me! =) Indeed, thats prettty flattering and just looking at them trying to make me look more "lian" tickles me! By the way, I think I already look abit "lian" in nature at times. HAHA! I look at my old pictures and laugh, sometimes there's really no changes but then I know there are, because I'm really no longer 16 but 21. Hexiang have never see me in my uniform other than my photos and there..So self obsession that we have~
us
HAHA!
And then it was Mid-Autumn Festival and yup, my dearest best friend who have keep me company for the many Mid-Autumns was not here this year because she's far far far far far far away in Aussie =( but HAHA =) I had fun still because it was first time Hexiang and I played candles with a big light bulb! It is adik perempuan saya!!! Opps! =x
pretty sparklers
light bulb plus us
And I did this for Hexiang since I took his first time *shy* WAHAHAHA!!! HE dont remember celebrating MId Autumn so THATS THE FIRST TIME LA! You dirty-minded I know what you thinking!!! =p
I love you
Nice right? Wah, I can hear many "yes" haha, I am just playing with myself and thats pretty obvious, I'm still suffering and recovering from the got-term-break-but-being-taken-away syndrome. Dr Indira Pant says it is very hard to deal with loss and I am trying to do it now. Dont come near me.

sunday

My bed is full with stuff now, my pens, papers, organizers and hair bands. It has been a busy week and my friend and I were just talking about how we can be so busy even with lesser projects given compared to the previous semster. My breaks in between lessons are all taken up by doing tutorials and project meetings and I shuttle from one place to another. That day I was in school till 9.40pm because we were supposedly discussing a discussion that we thought will only goes on for 10 minutes and noooooo, it did not! But the discussion was fun and we were laughing non-stop and having fun, and probably thats why time files~

Seldom am I at home on a Saturday, usually I will be hanging out with Hexiang and I'll be out but since there's alot to do this week plus there's a special event I've to stay home today and finish my stuff. And I think it is by coincidence that every time I am home, I will be able to catch a new drama in the afternoon at its first episode! By far, I think today was the best ever. It was a Jap drama featuring 7 people that formed a star-gazing club with they were in school. The leader of the group has no idea what the group was for anyway initially but he just started a club for nothing because he believed what you cannot see individually, you might be able to see it in a group! The club started with only 3 males and then slowly another 1 male and 3 more females joined them and after which they became the best of friends! I'm taking Understanding the Universe and I roughly know the things they are talking about... Like how they call themselves the Big Dippers because Big Dippers consist of 7 stars and how Big Dipper was used to locate the Polaris and Polaris was used to locate where you are when you are lost because it always stay in the same position. Out of the 7, only one is a true star-gazer who speaks like my lecturer, telling you when got meteor rain and when got sun spots and the rest only found out more when they decided the club was to be a star-gazing one.

With 4 males and 3 females, yes, there are love stories. People tend to fall in love with each other when they get really close and sometimes it sets me thinking if real platonic relationship exists between a male and female. I once read from some books that a woman will never stop seducing a man and a man will never look upon a woman as his buddy. I have real good male friends too thus I believe platonic relationship do exists.

The story stretches back to 3 years after they left the school. When you stepped into the society, you change and out of the 7 characters, 6 of them insisted that they've changed and 3 years was what it take to leave behind their old self and change to become a 'society person', while only one guy who was away abroad for these 3 years came back thinking everything is still the same because he's still the same old him. And there was the hero trying to bring everyone back, more of a trying to convince everyone that they are still them thingie.

He's very romantic and very true at heart, because there was this particular guy who like the same girl as him, they have to come to a decision to see if who should give up. OKay, it is a long story but was about this silly competition to test who loves the girl more, the other guy won but if I am the girl, I would think he loves me more although he did not win but the thing was the girl wasn't there to witness the competition so the girl ended up with that winning guy... They broke up after 6 months because both of them started working.

Must actually watch the drama yourself to see how true that is... haha~

MIght tell you the story next time, is late, I better get to bed... =) Night

Malay Weddings

That person is so evil! I shall be nice =p

I was down at my ex-colleague's wedding on Sunday. If I dont remmeber wrongly, that was the second malay wedding I have attended. But for someone who is related to me first degree (not friend's friends or parents's friends or blah blah), thats the first time my friend is getting married! I've been down to her engagement and it was an eye-opener for me because malays really have different customs altogether.
Malay wedding
I met Elena at the MRT station and we sort of like calculated how long we have never see each other and it amounts to like one year and ten months! Time files~ I remembered the days when the 3 of us will be busy working in that big big office with the manager's room empty! My big boss's office is at the MOE building and he will be seldom at our place (which is the old MOE building) and we have like 7 terminals and 3 phone lines for our use!! Work was stress nonetheless and teachers are sometimes a really despicable lot and some teachers just dont behave like one. I especially remember this teacher who often tried to flirt with me on the phone and I simply hate to call him and that day when he insisted coming down to seek how the things was supposed to be done, I nearly armed myself with armour and bulletproof vest! It turned out that he was a OLD FOGEY!!! That was so disgusting!!! And there was another teacher Mr Goodenough (yeah, that was his surname, he's a caucasian). He was irritating enough on the phone, pestering us everyday to help him with the system and stuff and that day he came down, we changed our opinion about him because he seems nice enough or good enough. HAHA!
And because the place we were at were quite secluded, there's always not much food we can have because the nearest was at Tanglin Mall and if we were lazy or too busy, we would head to somewhere near and pack cup noodles. The people working there all had cars and they will drive to orchard or what to have their meals and because we three worked in a different office, we weren't very close to them. Elena was always looking at the older men in the other offices and telling which is more handsome than who, she even had some scandals with one of them!! HAHA! OPPS! I could go on and on about the stress we had and the dialouges we have with teachers, in-charge, some big shots in MOE although I only spend like 3 weeks there with like 5 days on MC because I just cannot keep up with the stress and the work. Sometimes we got to work from 8am to 8pm and that was like too much for my health because travelling took like 1++ hour and there was once when I reach home and I cannot see anything! It was like first hand experience of the working life, with meetings (yes, although I am some small fry), writing reports, calling the schools in Singapore and emailing to the principals and stuff and there was no way in life when I'm so concerned about my grammar and tones and blah blah because I am always rubbing shoulders with the in-charge of the West district, East and my primary school princinpal even became my colleague and I was so SHOCKED and elated at the same time! It is like Alice in wonderland although I am not Alice but Joanne. HAHA!

I was supposed to say about the wedding but well, think I say too much already! HAHA! I did not get a chance to take a picture with the bride because I was a small fry and she was so buSY!!! Anyway, try to see if you can spot her in the pictures, =)

I added new pictures to my shelf because I got nothing to do and there are additiional members in the family. So much so for nothing to do?
nice
And wonders what happen if all of this falls on your head??
Beautiful
They are so beautiful!!! I took a snap since I got my phone. By the way, nokia 3230 is down with some idiotic problems recently and Nokia cannot solve that! It is not a major problem but it's just that theres this stupid "@" sign at the top right hand corner of my phone and it was irritating and Nokia do not know how to solve it!! The thing is being spread by sms-es!! you will receive some sms with weird characters and then you will caught the "@" thingie and supposedly only my model is vunlerable to that! IRRITATING!!!

HAHA! Thats so long isn't it? School is kinda busy and the term is starting to heat up already! SIANZ!!! tata~
