What Alice forgot
It is a coincidence, otherwise, it is all because of age.
It was my birthday last month and I was looking back a decade and more to what I have achieved. I just finished a book yesterday night and it was about this lady who lost a decade of her memories. That decade happens to be one that has went through plenty of changes for her. In that decade, she gave birth to 3 children of which now, she has no idea who they are.
I love getting books when I travel. Its like a piece that I bring with me how that after spending some time in that country, I would be able to appreciate the stories of that place more. It works sometimes. It is good that I can put a picture to the description in the story but sometimes, it doesn't work that way and I got to know more about the place that I have just visited.
Being able to forget is a skill. Being able to time travel is impossible. Perhaps, it should never be made possible otherwise, it will get pretty chaotic. Don't you think so?
This is a book that makes you think back about your life. It makes you recall. What happens if you meet the younger you? Will your friends still love you? Will your friends stay the same? Will feelings change? What goes up comes down, will that be the same for the feelings? Do they also go through the same business cycle?
FORGET is a big word. It is always a crossroad to whether should you forget or remember. Everyone seems to think that if I can forget then I can move on but the memories and the emotion might just keep gushing, you do not bear to forget. Reminds me of the Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind. As you go through the things once again that you have been dying to forget, would your decision stay the same?
Oh oh oh, it is just a book that I have read, it doesn't mean that I am trying to be emo. I used to write about the books I read so that I can remember them better. momento mori
Yes, world of Sophie I am still in and thus the title.
Covering for someone today again. Covering is good because it gives me time to breathe and I realise wherever I go, there bound to be things happening. Things like hmmm flooding, you cannot imagine waddling pools where its not meant to be. I must be a jinx to my working place that is.
I was trying to do backup the other day and I saw tonnes of pictures in my hard disk. Of course, those were evidence of empty promises which I have made, yup, empty promises that says I will upload when I have time. =)
Those were the times, we always made it an effort to go down to the hotel lounge for some warmth and alcohol. I remember vividly, the most expensive drink should be in KL although the rest are not that cheap either. Now I remember the breakfast at Grand Hyatt Taiwan was the best ever. Haha, we spent the late nights in the late night markets though when we were in Taiwan and I tell you, at the mention of the food, it still make my saliva glands work. Yeah, guess where is that?
 No, this is not photoshop-ed. We are there physically beside the structure itself though it is a miniature of the real deal! Some day, I am going to the real one and I will be inside admiring the structure and the architecture and be totally in awe of its age. We love the pyramids!
 So beautiful eh... Thats a miniature of The Great Nigara Falls. Yes, the miniature is grand enough, I cannot imagine how gratifying the real one can be because one day I am going to set my foot there and experience the wind and the falls.
 And I am going to set foot at where Democrates set his...
 Guess what? Time to knock off!
 I am so looking forward to the short-ta-little-shopping-girls-trip this Sunday! Enjoy your weekends!

Boy: Baby, yay!!! My pay come liao! ## coming liao, you want anything?
Girl: Mhmmmmm... There's this watch that caught my EYE!
Boy: If it isnt too expensive, I buy for you!
Girl: Mhhmmmmm, your expensive is what kind of "expensive"? $100?
Boy: How many watches have I bought you?!!
Girl: 2!
Boy: I have bought you 2 watches and 1.5 Handphone liao hor! Why do you need so many watches?

Girl replied its her hobby just like collecting stamps, she loves to collect watches. Boy replied, "Baby, then can you go back to collect stamps?" =X
Muahahah!!!
 But then again, I kept thinking about that watch!!! I think it is like a lil' cheaper than my most expensive watch and they happen to be the same brand but it is leather and I only got one leather watch, okay, maybe I have 2. When I started working, Baby Ng bought this for me. Muahaha, I havent buy any watches for MYSELF hor... Okay, I know, its just a temptation, it will go away. I already have X nos of watches... I only have 2 hands, those are extravagance... I just bought a new wallet last week... BOOHOOOOOOO!!! Don't buy, Don't buy lor........................ Labels: Hobby

Lemming Dilemma
Heh, kudos to that "someone" who takes the effort to search google for that. I just reaised something, the title was wrongly spelt earlier on.
Lemmings are creatures that jumps off the cliff and in the story, they do so without knowing why they have to do it. I happened to read that book before I blogged so haha I just put it in.
haha, it actually tickles me that that "someone" said I bo liao anyhow write so I will just post a few pictures to give him credit for attempting to find out the meaning. HAHA! I know I am nice.
