Carefree days
You see, there are transitions in life and it might be for the better or for the worst. Nah, this is not a start to a very emo post, NUS life has unofficially ended for Ms Joanne and if I am to start listing all my transitions, you would have fainted. Hah, I can assure you that. =) *whisper* As a matter of fact, I dont care if you are going to faint. Hahaha hohoho. Boo!
I lost my grandmother at the starting of my first year, second sem. It was an excruciating pain inflicted. "You cannot prevent what is unpredictable", this is a line by Mary Alice Young to Lynette Scavo because Lynette felt so guilty that she could have done something to prevent Mary Alice's death. I felt I could have done something too and everytime, at the mention of that, I haul myself into a emotional turmoil. They said time heal, I hope it can do better than that. Hah. =p I'm greedy.
On a lighter note, I met this person right at the beginning of my second year who have made a difference to my life. HAHA! That day, I was telling him: "Wah sianz, Baby, not fair wan! You're in 3/4 of my NUS life while I am only in yours for 2/3!!!" HAHAHA! Nah, not going to start the story of how we started but I can tell you its nothing close to romantic, its more like a comedy with some very scheming character inside.
HAHA, when I told my mummy (yes, my mummy knows it first because we let ourselves in to each other's secrets), she was in a total shock because I barely know this guy for 3 months. *Gasp* I'm sure you have heard about my stories in these aspects, if you havent, too bad. HAHAHAH!!! Everyone that I have told was in complete shock and in awe of this mysterious guy that popped out of nowhere. HAHA, of course, Bro^5 said: "HAHAHA!!! If you guys can survive for 3 months, can get married liao loh!!!" Very encouraging, isnt it? (o_O) Others were abit skeptical and we kept it underground for quite awhile. Heh, I dont know for what. Guess what? We've survived for so many 3-months already!!! Hohoho!
Academic wise, it was the same every semster. Holiday started, holiday ended, as simple as that. Except my dissertation baby, I had a rough delivery and almost died at the hands of it because I found out that I am too ill-disciplined. This was the most difficult thing in my whole NUS 4 life that I was asked to do. You should have know me, I can go out and gai gai during the eve of my exams and I can sashay into the examinations hall not feeling a tweeny bit of fear in my blood. I can buy my textbook 1 week before examinations and choke on the information and be ultra high. I print my readings 1 week before examinations. NOt that I read them but I just feel guilty for not being as hardworking as the rest. My cousin actually read her readings at my grandma's wake. Ha! So what? I dont believe she can get a first class. Bah! I dont know how I survive in there. Haha! This last semster, I didnt even print some of the lecture notes. I am so dead meat. =) So High! HAHAHA!!!
Last day of school and the year rep was talking.
Followed by the head of department. =)
Heh heh, this is not a normal Mcflurry!!! It was delivered to my doorstep when I said I wanted Mcflurry after my last paper. Delivered not by the Mac delivery man but by CS!!! Hehehee, so touched!!!
Best best pal! Mr. Ng also bought me to play pool, arcade and sing KTV that day! He probably think I will be sad hohoho, ya, I super sad... HAHAHAH!!!

Nails can go from french manicure one day and black the other.
Ahhh, and I even spent some time in the kitchen baking durian muffins.
Look at the professionals at work. Heh. We did a little cake for my daddy. It was hilarious because I am a noob when it comes to baking. =) My 4th aunt is the adroit baker!!! We had so much fun that night with much laughter. The day I baked my muffins, it was laughter filled too with my daddy helping because the mixer broke down. hoho! And and... I started my "reading spree" again! HAHA!!! I love reading.
.jpg) This is by a Singaporean author, quite interesting. It talks about this Singaporean in Oxford and the misfits involve. Hoho, I am going to try and read Mein Kampf after I finish reading Blink and Sophie's World. HOney Baby~~~~ *wink wink*
I caught Spidey yesterday night in the same threatre as my Uncle, haha, such a coincidence!!! =) I'm not going to be a spoiler, it's nice, go catch it! Dumb Dumb, catch the show, not the spider. HAHA!
Thats what Baby T looks like when Hi-5 or any children programs is on TV. Baby X realised I am taking photographs! HAHAHA!!!
.jpg) So cute, isnt it?
I am so going to miss them and Mr. Ng when I am in Genting. If you realise, I am getting bored of blogging when I have more pictures than words. HAHA!!! =) I havent pack so I should be going. Life would have been more carefree if I have a job in my pocket. HAHA! =)
Will be setting off tomorrow so... see you guys in a bit. I will try to bring some Genting air back.
