Fantastic Four Gathering
School started and today is the start of tutorial registration. *Fingers crossed* Let's hope I got the slots I want!
These days I am enjoying the benefits that LASIK has brought me. I'm taking lesser time to prepare to go out, I am sleeping longer especially for morning class since I do not have to wake up early to "prepare" my eyes for the wearing of contact lenses. I can wake up at 7 and prepare to go at 7.20 and after 13 hours, I still have the mood for this and looking refreshed!
Contact lense wearing for more than 12 hours is not desirable and can lead to other eye-related illness which is bad for your eyes so sub-consciously, everytime I wear my contact lenses for more than 12 hours, I will feel uncomfortable and I will start to feel tired and all. There is definitely no way that I can meet my friends after an 8am lesson without bringing all my spectacles barang barang! Now? No worries!!! (Oh no, do I sound like I am advertising for LASIK? Kekeke)
That aside, I met my JC clique on Wednesday! It wasn't easy for us to meet up because we are all busy with our own stuff. I think I did mention that all of us went to diferent universities with Me in NUS, Liping in SIM, Ann in SMU and Xiaojing in NTU. Heh, that actually have nothing to do with our schools! Xiaojing is just busy with coming up with excuses so that she dont need to go to school, Liping is busy playing Mummy and Ms Nice Girlfriend although abit violent at times and Ann is busy with some shoots thingie. Well, I am truly busy with school work. =D
I guess sometimes paths diverges after it converges...
Before that, I had a morning class at 8am! After that, I met Mr. Boyfriend and we went Bugis before I meet the girls at Clarke Quay. Programme for the day was Settler's Cafe.
So the rest had their lunch at Settler's while I had mine at Sakae with Mr. Boyfriend. This stone bowl rice is so filling that it kept my gastric busy for like 6 hours!!! Hahaha!
At Settler's...
Girl was looking at Menu, staff was waiting for the girls to take orders and before that he explained how the packages were like. He just finished explaining and girl on right ask him again and then girl on right did not get him, so he explained thrice. It was time to take orders so he waited, girls talked non-stop, he waited, girls again talked non-stop among themselves.
Girl A: I think I want the jumbo sausages but I don't think it is filling and no chef recommendation cap, not like Fish and Chips so maybe I can have Fish and chips.
Girl B: Huh, then you take Fish and Chips lah~
Staff : I have taken the sausages and I think it is quite filling for me.
Girl A: HAHA! FOR YOU MAH! (shot a glance at Girl C)
Girl B: How big is the sausages here???
Staff : (uses his hand and show us the size of the sausages) It is about this big, ya...about this size...
Girl A: (giggles and glance over at Girl C and everyone broke into laughter, staff awkward)
So the food arrived and the girls happened to change the game that they are playing so staff explained...
Staff : dah dah dah...dah dah dah..the game is .....lah lah lah...Do you understand?
Girl D: (Cutting up her Fish and Chips) Can I have the mustard please, shun bian bring the mayo?
Girl B: (Laughs hysterically) Are you even listening?!?!?!?!??!
Girl A: huh? (panick and shouted for the staff) Can you bring the Chilli also???
Girl C: ... ... ... ...
Girl B: (Laughs) Everyone is just concerned with their food.
So we changed games after games so that we can play the maximum number of games there. I managed to get all the names of the games from one of the Bosses of Settler's. Heh. We played Rummikub, something like mahjong and Ann somehow kissed some boy in the morning and the boy actually sucked all her luck but she managed to win once though. We played Blokus (shown in the picture) and it was one of my favourite games! Oh that! The girls actually wanted to break the pieces to fit. (-_-)'" I heard the game was selling at $49.90, thank goodness, nothing of that happened. We played Sequence of which my partner and I did not even win a game, so much so for partnership heh? We had Snorta also, where Ann came up with "Kok-Kok-Meh!", Liping with "Ribit!", Xiaojing with "Kukukuku!" and me with "Mao-mao-meow-meow!" Heh! I think that game is pretty boring. We had Halli Gali, where it was super noisy and we had to remove all rings and all. We had Bamboleo, an excellent game for forfeits and a lousy game for elephants! HAHAHA! We ended with Poison, with Ann being poisoned to death and I won the game but no one seem to care because everyone is too engrossed with the poison cards Ann had. Muahahah!! It was four hours spent!
Next, Liping drove us to Repulic so that we can have our dinner. That BMW is HUGE but the driver is small!
I remembered the first time Liping drove us, we were attracting stares because the BMW is big and Liping is so small and all of us in the car looked kiddish to be in that car! People might be thinking we stole our dad's car or something. hahaha. I must say after the ride, I have no appetite for anything because I was feeling nauseous. I always neevr fail to mention the fateful incident of FiFi, the dog who puked who got sick because of her owner, Ms Lim!
So we were at Republic yakking away without ordering any food, We continued even with the food in our mouth. I shared the LASIK experience with them too, I mean com'on, it is not everyday you have your friend going for LASIK so I took my time to gross them out and Liping sometimes contributed too! We talked about other stuff too, I mean we are getting on our age and naturally, we talked about mature stuff, like biting boyfriends and fighting with them our careers and political stuff and all. =0
It was so fun the whole day that we were about to go back when we realised we have not taken any pictures at alll!! So we have grown up, from taking neoprints to taking pictures with our handphones in the TOILET. It is free and the lighting is good and we attracted alot of attention! Of course, Xiaojing got a big bump on her head heh, I am glad I am that slow because I realised my handphone has got self timer function only after she did. Kekeke, so it was Tan Shao Jing who got the bump rather than Ms Koh =x Once a bump on the head is good because it keeps your nervous system in check and that it shows they are still in good condition! =x
And we continue to snap snap with the help of others and with our handphones which is equipped with self-timer function. We changed position after position and pose after pose.
If you look carefully, some of the girls have typical poses. It is very obvious innit? Loook carefully... Like their hands were always at some parts of their bodies, their faces??? HAHAHAHAH!!! We all agreed later on that Ms Lim has become much more demure, the magic that her boyfriend is casting on her!!! (Mr. Boyfriend, you dont try ok, I dont want to be slapped that frequently! =p )
And it was great fun and I look forward to the next outing!!! I think this is like one of our longest outing ever since we always have dinner or lunch most of the times...
Hah...A very lengthy entry. I think I should be contributing to my PTS report instead. HAHAHAH! Tata!
