Touched
Just when I was thinking to myself that all lecturers are all adversities *gasp* one lecturer emailed me!!!
He asked how was I doing? He asked if he can read my proposal so that he can make sure I do not go the wrong way? *gasp gasp* Can you imagine??? Some lecturer asking to read my proposal so that he can guide me along??? WHY???
Awwwwww~ Awwwwww~ I'm so touched!!
Here's the dumb thing. I changed my topic completely after a talk with a supposedly helpful lecturer who said some VERY ENCOURAGING words. I thought that was the end of that topic because it was too far-fetched. I emailed the two professors that she recommended and found this nice professor and another one, who, I dont think ever tried her best to help me but send me some ENCOURAGING email back and never even want to meet me.
Demoralised, I abandoned the whole topic altogether and take on something that has that amazing power to put me to sleep. It was good because my this topic got thrown out of that office and I was asked to come up with a new one. I came up with a new one after a butterfiles-in-my-stomach presentation where standing there was the feeling of being executed. I sumbitted that proposal. Long story on that presentation but I was definitely glad that I had fantastic members who stood together with me on that execution ground and we made it to the best team for that day itself! =)
I disgress. Just a day later, I received this email from this professor asking how I am!! I went to seek him opinion on my very first topic after that devastating talk with that female professor. It was encouraging (the real one) because he told me how I can improve on my proposal and the things that I can add on and this includes giving my proposal a more impressionable title. Sad thing was I didnt trust him because he just join the school 2 weeks ago. Alright, I know I ought to be shot for that.
I redo my proposal (the very first one) and send it to him on Friday night. Today, I received the edited copy. Allow me to SCREAM!!!!!!
WHY HE SOOOOOOO NICE!!!!!!!!!!!! HE MADE ALOT OF GOOD POINTS AND ADD THEM IN AND NOW MY PROPOSAL SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER!!!!! ARGHGHGHGH!!!! If I dont make him my supervisor, I ought to be shot right??? OKAY! ARGHGHGHGHGHGH!!! WHY HE SOOOOO NICE??????????????

We didnt do anything naughty, we both are really kids that are obedient (backgroud music: desperate housewives's song).
